Part-Time Jailer

Description

Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to fill a Part-Time Jailer position.

Primary duties include booking prisoners, data entry, record keeping, overseeing the general health and welfare of prisoners, and any other duties assigned to maintain the operation of the Guthrie County Jail.

Hours: To be determined. Positions needed are for afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts.

Part-time wage range: $18.00 - $23.00/hr

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency

Currently certified or the ability to become a certified Jailer by the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy.

Job Benefits

Part-time benefits include IPERS and PTO.
