Guthrie County Sheriff's Office is seeking to fill full-time and part-time Jailer positions. Primary duties include booking prisoners, data entry, record keeping, overseeing the general health and welfare of prisoners, and any other duties assigned to maintain the operation of the Guthrie County Jail.
Hours are to be determined. Positions needed are for afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts.
Full-time and part-time wage range: $18.00 - $23.00/hr
High school diploma or equivalency
Currently certified or the ability to become a certified Jailer by the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy.
Full-time benefits include IPERS, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation, sick time, personal days and comp time or overtime.
Part-time benefits include IPERS and PTO.
