Guthrie County is seeking Part Time HOPES candidates to work with children and parents in their homes to optimize physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities include: Completing in-home visits with families according to their treatment goals and HOPES curriculum/materials, coordinating/scheduling ongoing visits with families, completion of assessments and quarterly reports in a timely manner, and ongoing supervision meetings with the Public Health Director.
Hourly rate: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr based on education and experience
Hours are generally 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
24 - 30 hours a week.
Completion of High School Diploma or GED
Completion or completing the National Certification Exam within 1 year of hire
Completion of 12 hours of training per year, as approved by the Family Assessment Worker or Public Health Director
Maintain current training in Iowa Mandatory Reporting (for both Adults and Children) and in CPR/First Aid.
Part-time benefits include IPERS and PTO.
