Guthrie County Attorney's Office is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Guthrie County Attorney. Duties of the position will include prosecution of criminal offenses, including but not limited to simple misdemeanors, traffic offenses, and indictable misdemeanors. Other cases will be assigned based on skill level and could include felonies, juvenile and mental health cases, as well as performing civil legal work as needed.
Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience and will be in the range of $70,000 - $88,000 per year.
Applicants must be licensed to practice law in the State of Iowa. Experience is preferred, but those who have recently been admitted to practice are encouraged to apply.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check, pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment physical.
